Credits and billing
Web credits, generation estimates, top-up packs, and the separate iOS feature and billing boundaries.
GuruOwl uses credits for AI work. Website and iOS feature access are not identical.
What costs credits
- PDF generation: Standard 1 credit/page; Expert 3 credits/page for the upfront estimate. Check the estimate before confirming.
- AI coaching and other AI actions can also consume credits; check the relevant screen.
- Ordinary web card review, editing and APKG export do not consume generation credits. This is not a promise that every iOS feature or cloud-sync scope is free.
Starting free
New web accounts receive 50 credits: enough for an estimate of 50 Standard pages or 16 Expert pages, not any full PDF. The anonymous PDF demo is separate: first 3 text pages, up to 5 MB, no account.
Buying credits
Web top-up packs contain 500, 1,500, or 4,000 credits. Top-ups do not expire. See pricing and the actual checkout for current prices.
The iOS app also has separate paid offers and feature entitlements; consult its purchase screen and any credit expiry terms. Web purchases use Stripe; in-app purchases use Apple. To use a linked balance, verify the same account is connected on both devices. Do not assume a different Apple/Google login is the same account.
Generation interruptions and billing questions
Standard streams interactively; keep the page open. Expert runs as a background job and can continue after navigation. Check job status and the credit ledger before restarting; do not assume every interrupted attempt is complete or refunded.
For failed jobs, missing credits, receipts or refunds, use the refund policy or contact support. Include the job or purchase reference; never send passwords.
